Full screen only uses part of screen

I have a few old iMacs with a ATI 3D Rage Pro 215GP (they are run as
thin clients via LTSP).
When I run "full screen" games (e.g. Tux Typing, or Tux Math) only a
small part of the inner screen is used.
Any tricks to get full screen to work?
I've attached lspci out for the card and the xorg.conf that is
auto-generated.
Only significant error is:
