can I beg for some eyeballs on a netbsd wscons/XInput mouse problem?

yes, I found it. and the matching patch to os-support/bsd/bsd_mouse.c

I confirm both are in the codebase I have run, and I still see the
problem.

can you advise how to make these, for mouse events this low in the code?
I looked and didn't see any guidance on how to enable the kind of logging
you might find useful. If you can help me to make it, I would *love* to
make it, so you can do trace on whats happening. If its just the runtime
mouse debug state I can turn on live, I think I'm ready.. If I have to
re-compile, I need to know at what level in code I do that. (which may
require I understand how to pass it down in NetBSD pkgsrc but I can get
there)

I understand that most Xorg bugs have the XF86Config and the like as
attachment. I held off on that, because I didn't see eyeballs on the
problem, and given 3113 was closed [fixed] I can understand that. But, I
believe it isn't fixed, and if I can help resolve that so much the better.

cheers
