Mouse will continue to be needed even on evdev platforms until evdev has
support for emulating button 2 (thinkpad users are not the only laptop
users who want to do middle-button pasting) and probably support for
emulating a wheel as well (based on comments in a recent post).

Kbd may be mostly not needed, but we aren’t close to mostly for mouse.
