There are some issues with running several instances of the xserver. The idea
behind the "xephyr multiseat solution" is to take advantage of the xserver
module called RAC (Resource Access Control).
Currently, there's people working on a vga arbiter, that will allow several
instances of the xserver to run without stepping in each other's toes. They
released some code [0] that you could help to test.
