Intel 2.1.1 and HDTV tearing

Hi xorg-ers,

When displaying 1080p content on my LCD TV, connected using HDMI,
through mplayer or any other player, using xv, gl, gl2, I always get
some level of tearing.

Nothing huge, but enough lag to be registered by the brain and become a
bit annoying, especially when you are watching big moving sceneries. 

Is there any xorg.cong setting that I could use to minimize this, until
motion compensation comes into the code?
