failure to load i965_dri with current git drm kernel modules + linux-2.6.22.2

			Hello.

We are building the git versions of xorg/drm/mesa regularly; when doing
this we normally install the drm kernel modules along with the library.

When doing this after we moved to linux-kernel 2.6.22.2, we got an error
in the xorg log when normally the dri module would have been inserted:

=========================================================================
drmOpenDevice: node name is /dev/dri/card0
drmOpenDevice: open result is 9, (OK)
drmOpenByBusid: Searching for BusID pci:0000:00:02.0
drmOpenDevice: node name is /dev/dri/card0
drmOpenDevice: open result is 9, (OK)
drmOpenByBusid: drmOpenMinor returns 9
drmOpenByBusid: drmGetBusid reports pci:0000:00:02.0
(EE) AIGLX error: Calling driver entry point failed(EE) AIGLX: reverting
to software rendering
=========================================================================

Anything known about this?

Should we refrain from using the kernel modules which would be built
from the git sources of drm or is the error a temporary thing which will
go away in later (git-) versions of drm?

		thanks for any insights regarding this.
