Intel driver EDID not probing proper resolutions over HDMI

All,

I have this pb as well. G965 usind sDVO card with HDMI.

EDID is not sucessfuly probed all the time, it is a hit and miss, with a
lot of misses.

It worked well for a while, and decided to go into that mode.

I even exchanged the TV at the shop.

This is under Ubuntu Gutsy.
