I have this in my xorg.conf
Option "noPM" "true"
Option "StandByTime" "60"
and acpi does not show up in the xorg log anymore, but still dpms is broken.
It will put the screen into standby but bring it back on about a minute later.
Im having this problem since a long time on ubuntu and gentoo but it
seems not widely beeing talked about.
Is it dependant on the video-chipset?
Im using the i810 driver.
