I wish I had the expertise, but if you ask me this is one thing that 
could be improved about the Intel driver effort. The efforts of Intel 
employees on the driver and X in general have bordered on heroic (IMHO 
:P) but it seems that things could be even better if external 
contributors helped on the driver where it is possible. Perhaps some 
documentation, or a wiki page, listing the tasks that need done or 
features that are wanted that people who do not have access to 
non-public Intel documentation can work on?
