Latest git checkout (2007-04-04) does not show the inability described
in the messages in this thread.
The bug at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10410 has been
closed accordingly.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is
not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they
are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them
as they fly overhead. [RFC1925 - section 2, subsection 3]
