i915 and 1680x1050 (yes , again :)

When I try to run the autogen.sh from xf86-video-intel, I get error

aclocal: configure.ac: 131: macro `AM_CFLAGS' not found in library

Any ideas what is causing this? I did a bit of googleing but couldn't find a
solution.
