Yeah, the ATX boards all have parallel ports, but no DVI connector. At
least they're consistent, unfortunately, it's actually hard to tell what
connectors are on the boards as the specs don't say and you have to look
closely at the pictures they provide.
SDVO cards should work fine with any of the chips; all of the PCI-E
chips work about the same, and the SDVO spec is fairly well supported by
the cards.
The modesetting branch also has code for SDVO, so you can even give that
a try if you're brave.
