Xv,Xdamage Xorg 7.1

Hello everyone,

While running an application of mine, I've noticed that using Xv for video,
I get damage events. I'm on X.org 7.1 and as far as I know, up to
7.0 this wasn't the case.

So can somebody tell me if this is something new, or something wrong with my
set up (can't imagine what , but had to make sure anyway)  .

Plus, if that's the case, are there any plans to make xdamage usable on glx, 
too?
