CrossComiling Xorg X11R7.1 for ARM (Error at makekeys : cannot execute binary)

Hi all ,

I am still working on X11R7.1 for ARM ..
mean while I have few queries ..

1.  Currently working on the ARM board which uses a frame buffer to display
on the screen.
     Now my question is -->  How should I configure X11R7.1 for this to work
.. ?
                                                OR
         --> Just crossCompiling does this automatically?

2. Next query is how to dynamically change the resolution of the screen on
the board.
