Hi Nix,

I did all the things afresh ..
with the patches and all the env variables set .

CC_FOR_BUILD = arm_v5t_le-gcc
PKG_CONFIG_PATH
PATH=/opt/mv_pro_4.0/montavista/pro/devkit/arm/v5t_le/bin:/usr/kerberos/sbin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/root/bin
CC
RANLIB
GCC
LD
AR
STRIP
CXX

 copied and applied the patches to the files and no tring to compile
with patches ..
patches from the site : http://wiki.x.org/wiki/CrossCompilingXorg

lib : http://users.freedesktop.org/~idr/crosscompile/lib-20060424.patch

libX11 : http://users.freedesktop.org/~idr/crosscompile/lib-libX11-20060424.patch

util : http://users.freedesktop.org/~idr/crosscompile/util-20060424.patch

Then i applied the patches.
(APPLIED IT MANUALLY cos it did patch right when i used the command ]$
patch p[num]  <  "patch_file_name" )

then executed this command.

 ./build-from-tarballs.sh -e
/root/software/backUpForX11R7Gz/x11r7.0/patched
/root/software/backUpForX11R7Gz/x11r7.0/targetfiles > er.log 2>&1 &

NOW THE ERROR IS DIFFERENT ....(CHECK ATTACHED LOG)
