Hi,

Perhaps some people can offer some advice.

Having just recently configured up a new laptop with the Intel GMA 945GM
display controller, I am running into issues running Google Earth (the
only GLish thing I've run with the exception of Beryl which is running
nicely)

When I launch GE, I get:
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x5b
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x23
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x25
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x27
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x29
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x2b
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x2d
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x2f
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x31
do_wait: drmWaitVBlank returned -1, IRQs don't seem to be working correctly.
Try running with LIBGL_THROTTLE_REFRESH and LIBL_SYNC_REFRESH unset.

Neither of the mentioned env vars are set.

I google about and found this:
http://www.spinics.net/lists/xorg/msg17472.html

I was using the 1.6.5 driver of i810 but upgraded to 1.7.2 when reading
this hoping it would be fixed.... it wasn't :(

Any other thoughts?

My Xorg is 7.1.1/1.1.1 whichever you prefer :) This is a Mandriva Cooker
install FWIW.

Col.
