Is it possible just to recompile libfb and replace it?

It's probably static on some platforms, dynamic on others (I'm not sure
how xorg does the cross-platform dlopen thing...and I don't have the time
to look into it now).

That said, libfb is part of the xorg-server package anyway, so why not
just build a new server? It's probably quicker and easier than figuring
out how to recompile libfb separately.
