libX11 and ac_cv_use_xcb=yes, build.sh, and git-to-cvs gateway?

What's official mean, particularly in unreleased code?

Personally, no, I use my distribution's packaging and update it where
necessary.

git 1.3 has a CVS gateway thing built in, that even allows for simple
commits but doesn't support some stranger things (maybe branching, even).
