Exa and radeon

Hi Eric,

just a quick update. I've tried some of the patches in those bugreport (but 
not that for shm pixmaps), but they did not make any difference for me. I've 
just compiled the latest ati-driver and xorg from CVS, and the pixmap 
corruptions in kwin remain.

Performance-wise, I think I've tracked down the situation in which there are 
serious issues: it is when xcompmgr is active _and_ text-scrolling happens. 
Like in a terminal window (konsole), or in a browser (konqueror). It may be 
related to the Qt toolkit, since with firefox the problem is much less 
evident. Performance problems really seems to be closely related to text 
rendering in my empirical tests.
