These are very old pre-7.0 releases and should probably be removed:

  app/xdriinfo/xdriinfo-0.99.0.tar.bz2
  app/xdriinfo/xdriinfo-0.99.0.tar.gz
  app/xset/xset-0.99.1.tar.bz2
  app/xset/xset-0.99.1.tar.gz

These are in both subdirs and in the driver dir:

  driver/xf86-input-vmmouse/xf86-input-vmmouse-12.3.1.0.tar.bz2
  driver/xf86-input-vmmouse/xf86-input-vmmouse-12.3.1.0.tar.gz
  driver/xf86-video-i810/xf86-video-i810-1.4.1.3.tar.bz2
  driver/xf86-video-i810/xf86-video-i810-1.4.1.3.tar.gz
  driver/xf86-video-i810/xf86-video-i810-1.5.0.0.tar.bz2
  driver/xf86-video-i810/xf86-video-i810-1.5.0.0.tar.gz
  driver/xf86-video-i810/xf86-video-i810-1.5.1.0.tar.bz2
  driver/xf86-video-i810/xf86-video-i810-1.5.1.0.tar.gz
  driver/xf86-video-trident/xf86-video-trident-1.0.1.2.tar.bz2
  driver/xf86-video-trident/xf86-video-trident-1.0.1.2.tar.gz
  driver/xf86-video-trident/xf86-video-trident-1.0.1.3.tar.bz2
  driver/xf86-video-trident/xf86-video-trident-1.0.1.3.tar.gz
  driver/xf86-video-vmware/xf86-video-vmware-10.12.0.0.tar.bz2
  driver/xf86-video-vmware/xf86-video-vmware-10.12.0.0.tar.gz

These are in both subdirs and in the lib dir:

  lib/xkbfile/libxkbfile-1.0.2.tar.bz2
  lib/xkbfile/libxkbfile-1.0.2.tar.gz

So, I think it would be safe to simply remove all of the subdirs at this
time.
