startup file?

Hi.

I need the name of the startup file that's run after I log into x.org.

~./xinitrc and ~/.xsession do NOT work, and they are executable.

I'm using enlightenment v16 so I cannot use GNOMEs/KDEs startups.

I already asked at gdm-list (I'm using gnome disply manager) and at e-users
list; in both cases, I got no usable reply.
