Xv on quad head card

Hey all,

Is it possible to use multiple Xv clients on a quad head card that is in
Xinerama mode ? For example if i start a mplayer, i can move it over all
4 displays and it plays fine (it only doesn't play when it is half in
screen 1&2 or screen 3&4 but that was an already explained hardware
limitation of the radeon M9). When i now start a second mplayer it can't
access Xv and gives the error ;

Xv: could not grab port 57
Could not find free Xvideo port - maybe another process is already using
it.

This is of course correct cause there is another mplayer running. The
question is is it possible to have two Xv application (which i will have
to write myself) run on the same display that consists out of 4 screens
in Xinerama mode ? Or is it never possible to have more than one Xv
application. If it is not possible for two applications to both use Xv,
is it possible for one application to open two Xv "windows" one on
monitor 1 and one on monitor 4 (that would be one Xv for the first M9
and one for the second M9, since they both have overlay hardware that
should work from the hardware point of view).

Any info is welcome.

TIA,

Erwin
