RANDR: syntax error near unexpected token

When looked at the logs further, Xorg7 build log on SuSE10, build is failing while building "xorg-server" with "checking for LIBDRM... configure: error: Package requirements (libdrm) were not met:"

When I looked at /root/xorg7/modular/lib/pkgconfig, there is no libdrm.pc package file. Is the libdrm installed as part of xorg7 before xorg-server is built? I didn't get from where I need to get this package?

Thanks,
Chand

Subject: RANDR: syntax error near unexpected token

Hi,

ON SUSE10:
I am trying to build Xorg7 on a SuSE10 system but failing with the following error while building the intel i810 driver.

checking dependency style of gcc... (cached) gcc3
./configure: line 19523: syntax error near unexpected token `RANDR,'
    ./configure: line 19523: `XORG_DRIVER_CHECK_EXT(RANDR, randrproto)'

>From xorg7 build.log file RANDR wasn't defined. I see "checking if RANDR is defined... no" messages all over the build.log file.

ON FC5:
But when I tried building Xorg7 on FC5 system, I see that "checking if RANDR is defined... yes" in build.log. And I don't get any build errors while building i810 driver.

Now my question is,
    1) Is not defining RANR is causing the problem on SuSE10?
    2) If so, how to enable the RANDR on SuSE10 while building Xorg7.

Also note that in both cases (Xorg7 build on FC5 and SuSE10), I am doing a prefix build...

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks in advance,
-Chand
