I read on some news site that you were working on this. How did it go with 
getting vesafb running for OpenBSD?

Any news about making a Xvesa that doesn't do those probes?

I need to look at existing X servers that do not have all those probes. (I 
only looked at xorg's xserver.)

I have been using vesafb (on NetBSD for a few weeks now) for X11 (but 
ran as root).

If you need any tester, please let me know.
