For what is the SwappedProcVector

Hi,

I was reading the xserver code and was imagining for what is the
SwappedProcVector and I conclude that how the xserver can be in a
different machine from the client the SwappedProcVector is used to
convert from big-endian to little-endian or vice-versa. Is really this?
There is any other use to this structure?
