Tried with latest development release Mesa 6.5.
[...]
Checking that the source files exist for mesa module ...
error: /usr/src/packages/BUILD/Mesa-6.5/src/mesa/main/arrayobj.c not found
configure: error: Failed to link Mesa source tree. Please specify a proper path to Mesa sources, or disable GLX.
Looks like you need at least Mesa CVS Tag "mesa-6_5-20060712", which
is the first Mesa CVS Tag which contains arrayobj.c.
