Cirrus Logic GD 5446

We have two Fujitsu Siemens PRIMERGY 470 machine with a Cirrus Logic GD 5446
Graphics built in to the motherboard with no DDC.

X.org and Fedora do not seem to support these machines with a modern
monitor, we are getting a garbaged screen.

At the moment we are running Redhat 9 which was XFree86 which supports the
graphics fine.

Is there some way to get X.org to support the graphics device ?
