Is it possible to force the chipset?

Is it possible to force the chipset, instead of auto detecting it? When I try
to use the 'nv' driver, I get "(EE) No devices detected.". It is a GeForce
6200, and from what I understand the nv driver supports the 6200. If i change
the 'nv' to 'vesa' I get video, and all, just not at the good resolutions, or
accelerated rates.

This is the excert from my xorg.conf

        Identifier "Card0"
        Driver "nv"
        VendorName "nVidia Corporation"
        BoardName "Unknown Board"
        ChipSet "GeForce 6200"
        BusID "PCI:2:0:0"
        VideoRam 131072

This is what I get in my Xorg.0.log

(--) PCI:*(2:0:0) nVidia Corporation unknown chipset (0x0221) rev 161, Mem @
0xe8000000/24, 0xd0000000/28, 0xe9000000/24

Here is the lspci -vvvv for my video card
