xdm and dual-head

Hi!

I'm running X.org with xdm and I have some stations with dual-head
configuration (two monitors without xinerama).

After reading the mailing list archives and some Internet sites,
finally I could personalise the login screen with a nice background
color and an image, but the image appears only on the first monitor
(X:0.0), but the second monitor (X:0.1) appears with the typical gray
screen.

Does anyone knows how to customize the background of the second monitor ??
