Why is this resolution "inaccessible"?

Modern monitors will shutdown first, but this is still good advice.
(Once virus people discovered you could blow up monitors the h/w people
got a bit more concerned)

Another approach for cards that can't do these low resolutions and lack
a bit doubling setting would be to do a "2x2 block" shadowfb hack for
the card. Wouldn't be too difficult for most drivers, especially those
which already have rotate shadowfb hooks.

Yes it would be unaccelerated but at 320x240 who actually cares 8)
