Running 32 bit 3d x apps on an x86_64 system?

I am running CentOS 4.2 (xorg-x11-6.8.2-1.EL.13.20) on amd64 system
running the x86_64 version of the distro.

I just moved from an NVidia card to a Radeon 9100 in order to be able to
use the open source drivers.

glxgears works fine.

However, I do want to be able to play 32 bit games. When I try to start
one, however, I get the output below. If I tell the games that software
gl is ok, the game does come up, but is, unsurprisingly, quite slow.

Running it under strace reveals that it is looking
for /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri/r200_dri.so and not finding it.
(Although /usr/X11R6/lib64/modules/dri/r200_dri.so does exist.)

Are there some 32 bit compatibility libs or something that I need?

Thanks,
Steve Bergman
