Hi
I'm having a very strange display corruption issue that i cant seem to pin
point. sometime without an aparent cause the display gets all garbled with
some black lines that divide the screen in small blocks (see attached
picture)

can anyone help me pinpoint it so i can report it in the bug database ?

my machine is a dual PIII 1.4 in a serverworks based chipset and an ATI Radeon
8500 DV video card
the system is gentoo, and both driver and Xorg are on the last version (free
ati driver)

thanks to the awesome suport broadcom has for linux, I cant use my agp since
its not suported, so altought the board is on the agp slot its in force PCI
mode

the Device section of my Xorg.conf is :

Section "Device"
# The Identifier must be present.

    Identifier "Radeon 8500 DV"
    Driver "ati"
