problem about XGetTextProperty()

Hello!

    I met a very strange problem. I wrote a simple program , if  I
executed it in Konsole/xterm , the  XGetTextProperty() return OK;  if
I executed it in gnome-terminal ,  it return error .

   what's the different between kde/gtk program ?
