Trying to get dualhead working, but failing bigtime

The nvidia-xconfig line I used was:
# one Screen (with Xinerama)
nvidia-xconfig --ddc --no-ignore-edid --use-edid-freqs --allow-ddcci --force-generate --twinview --twinview-xinerama-info

The setup does not allow to have root windows per physical monitor, but
works faster.

To get a separate root window per monitor I used:
nvidia-xconfig --xinerama --ddc --no-ignore-edid --use-edid-freqs --allow-ddcci --force-generate --separate-x-screens --xinerama

Make shure to backup your old xorg configuration.

The version I used was:
 version 1.0 (buildmeister at builder3) Wed Dec 14 16:39:22 PST 2005
or package 1.0-8178.

The multihead setup was done on x86-32 for a GeForce 6200, the
NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-8178-pkg2.run package worked at least in single
head mode , model : ?.

Once the options of the tool where figured out all went easy.
