Sounds like a plan to me.  99% of the code is identical.  It would
certainly make it easier to add mergedfb support to other drivers.  My
only question is, will Keithp's new xrandr code supercede the mergedfb
stuff?  should we wait for that or just move the mergedfb stuff out
now?
