Very bad OpenGL performance on i915

Hi,

I installed latest xorg from cvs yesterday and loaded drm,dri,i915 etc but 
glxgears gives me only ~260 fps which seems to be really low for a card with 
a 128mb RAM.

Any idea what might be wrong? Also I can't get screen to refresh > 60 Hz. Is 
that expected?
