Dumping EDID in hex...

Does anyone have a patch to Xserver/hw/ddc/ to dump (as hex)
the returned EDID information into the xorg.0.log file?

The NVidia proprietary drivers did this, which always struck
me as a useful feature (especially if you work with a lot of
recently released monitors and displays that might not have
all the bugs out of their V1.0 EDID information)...

Would be a handy thing to make a permanent part of the ddc/
code...

Maybe put it as logging xf86DrvMsg() into xf86PrintEDID().

Any opinions on the idea?
