no - but i've been grumbling about xrender for years :)

xrender under xaa isnt exactly fast - hell. it's already unusably slow.
seriously - the only viable solution right now is to do your rendering
client-side, yourself, with well written code. even on my r250, the ati
accelerated xrender drivers can manage to double the speed of client-side
software. thats great - compared to being 1/20th of the speed with xaa. also
note. exa is REALLY NEW. give it TIME. give driver authros time to catch up.
the ati work has been catching up - even it has problems. there are many BIG
issues at stake. software rendering is a huge issue - but give it time. :) i
dont see this being solved to satisfaction any time soon, but eventually.
