Probably not a big problem, but latest X from CVS using -configure
generated:

         Load "extmod"
         Load "glx"
         Load "dbe"
         Load "record"
         Load "xtrap"
         Load "extmod"
         Load "glx"
         Load "dbe"
         Load "record"
         Load "xtrap"
         Load "freetype"
         Load "type1"
         Load "type1"

Notice how all are repeated except freetype: dbe, extmod, glx, record,
type1, and xtrap.

I noticed because the log had:

(II) Failed to load module "glx" (already loaded, -1077937624)

But some others were like:

(II) LoadModule: "dbe"
(II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libdbe.so
(II) Module dbe: vendor="X.Org Foundation"
(II) LoadModule: "dbe"
(II) Reloading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libdbe.so

I don't know if this is a problem or not.

This is on NetBSD/i386 2.0.2 with a:
         Driver "tdfx"
         VendorName "3Dfx Interactive, Inc."
         BoardName "Voodoo Banshee"
         BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
