X server problem

 Hi,

  I am using RHEL WS4 update1 (2.6.9-11.EL) on HP xw8200, HP xw6000 and Dell 670 workstations. I am testing few applications of a product called GeoFrame on these machines.

 The problem is that one of these applications launches a progress bar window to show the progress. However, interetingly, the progress bar does   not proceed further and nothing seeps to happen at the background unless I try to resize the window. As soon as I resize it, the progress bar proceeds and after continuous resizing, the job is done. I wonder what exactly causing the problem. 

 There should not be any problem in the code as the same application works fine for RHEL WS 3 Update4 (2.4.21-27). More interestingly, using the smp-version of the same kernel (2.6.9-11.ELsmp), the application works fine.

Please let me know if there is reaaly any problem in xorg packages.
