radeon driver only detecting one monitor

You'd have to use an mplayer output plugin that the X server actually
has anything to do with, as opposed to xvidix, which pokes the hardware
behind the X server's back.

Either Xinerama actually isn't enabled, or maybe xscreensaver was built
without support for it or otherwise misbuilt or -run.
