radeon driver only detecting one monitor

For the record: 
Indeed, just tried MergedFB again and the secondary monitor is not detected, 
too :/

(WW) RADEON(0): Failed to detect secondary monitor DDC, default HSync and 
VRefresh used
(II) RADEON(0): MergedFB mode forced on.
