Is it possible to remap AccessX pointer movement keys?

I am trying to use an infrared remote control to move the mouse pointer 
across an X11 display. It mostly works, but I need to change -- for example 
-- the left mouse click action to the "Return" keycode. Is it possible to 
do this?
