Jon,

I've experience in this part of Keith's server and can help as soon as I
finish writing my overdue OLS paper this week. I hacked on it a while
back getting X up on the iPAQ, and think I can still find my way around
ok.

As Owen says, however, we'll need to worry about getting an XKB
implementation going, but for OLS, it won't matter if we have that
extension or not (toolkits will survive without it, at least when you
are using western keyboard layouts).

So it sounds like starting next week, you can have several more people
helping on various parts of the problem. Help is on the way...
