composite merge

Hello,  
I just have a question.
I tried the latest kdrive from cvs with its composite extension and found that 
it acts really better than the one in xorg 6.8.x
In particoular it's really more stable (no crashes with composite) and it has 
no redrawing or bad effects on moving and shading windows.
Is there a reason why these (positive) changes in the composite extension 
can't enter in the xorg tree?
Since xorg 6.8.0 prereleases composite has never be changed at all in the 
monolithic tree.
