xorg crash on OpenGL-use

Hi,

I have xorg installed, with the following packages:

This is run on a Fedora Core 3 box.

My problem is this: Whenever I try to run an OpenGL-application (such as
glgears, or a screensaver) xorg crashes and restarts.

Do any of you ppl know what might be wrong with this setup? Should the
"Mesa" packages be there? I have never before used any such packages,
they just showed up suddenly.
