And yet somehow, I haven't been lynched.

Consider this clear warning.  IHVs, get ready to ship dlloader modules for the 
next major release (not 6.8.2).  People everywhere running loadable servers, 
please try a dlloader build and report any bugs you hit.  There's a 
Loader/dlloader component in bugzilla, and I'm the owner for it.
