webpage and downloads for xlibs?

I can not figure out the freedesktop.org webpages. I can't find the
correct links or URLs to things like various Xlibs or other pages.

In Pkgsrc build system, we had http://freedesktop.org/~xlibs/release/ as
the download site and http://xlibs.freedesktop.org/ as the main webpage
for various Xlibs projects.

Can someone make http://xlibs.freedesktop.org/ point to
http://www.freedesktop.org/Software/xlibs  -- if that is correct?

And where are the released tarballs? (I see on webpage it says "link
broken".)

I am looking for libXpm tarball.
