What resolution is displayed?

I don't see the res in there. It appears to do the same as xwininfo.
That is, it just reports my virtual desktop size of:

dimensions: 2048x1536 pixels (321x241 millimeters)
resolution: 162x162 dots per inch

Which is not the same as displayed resolution I guess.
I thinks it is one of these:
"1400x1050" "1280x1024" "1280x960" "1024x768"
And can be walked thru with C-A +/- of course.
What I want is to verify what res is actually being displayed.
All xdypinfo is giving me is virtual desktop size.
