DRM problem with X-terminal

Am I correct in assuming that glxinfo is running on the server? In that
case direct rendering can't work. Direct rendering means that the OpenGL
application has direct access to the graphics hardware. If the OpenGL
application is running on a remote server that is impossible. What you
really want for your thin-client configuration is accelerated indirect
rendering. People are working on making this possible, but they are not
there yet. So you're stuck with software indirect rendering for now.
